Lost Angels

Spent the last weekend down in my annual mid-quarter LA trip visiting friends, taking in the the smog, and just relaxing. This time it was a slightly bit different as my main motive was a photo shoot i wanted to do down in skid row, 50 blocks of downtown LA home to over 11,000 homeless people, drug addicts, alcoholics, abandoned patients from mental hospitals etc. All i had was a few hours until sunset but it was a crazy experience. We made sandwiches to pass out, and just walked around talking and chilling with people, and taking pictures. I have a lot more to say, but i am currently working on a short documentary about this, so wait for that. The rest of the trip was pretty dandy, although i got a total of 12 hours of sleep in 3 nights, got elbowed in the throat playin ball at ucla, and a fever. Celebrated my boys jon and dennis' big 21 in irvine. Its getting old.
